GRO has apartments from midtown to downtown in our vast inventory. Through our partnerships GRO has the ability to secure apartments anywhere in the city our clients request to stay.

What are GRO’s rates for a furnished unit?

GRO rates vary depending on what time of year it is, the length of your stay, your unit selection, and where the apartment is located. Please call us today to get rates that will meet your specific needs.

How do we furnish our apartments?

GRO works with top designers and furniture retailers to ensure all of our apartments meet our rigid standard of excellence. We are not a hotel; these apartments are often used as second homes to our guests and they should always feel nothing less than warm and inviting.

How do I connect to GRO WiFi in my apartment?

In every GRO apartment you will find a welcome book that has all of the WiFi information and the apartment phone number in it. If you require further assistance, please contact our office at (212) 812-8600.

What is the minimum stay with GRO?

All GRO apartments have a 30-day minimum stay.

Do I have to pay hotel tax?

New York City requires all tenants staying in an apartment or a hotel less than 180 days’ pay New York City Hotel Room and Occupancy Tax. This is commonly referred to as HROT tax. The New York Hotel Tax is 5.875% of the monthly apartment rent. The New York Occupancy Tax is $4.00 per day for a studio and $6.00 per day for a one bedroom.

Why stay with GRO versus a hotel?

Most hotels in Manhattan offer nothing more than a place to lay your head and a restroom. Our apartments have fully equipped kitchens that you could cook your own meals if you chose to do so.

Are there laundry facilities available?

All GRO apartments are located within buildings that have on-site laundry facilities in the. There is a cost on a per load basis to wash and dry. Please check with the building staff to inquire about the cost per load.

Can I get housekeeping in my apartment?

Yes, you may have housekeeping for your apartment. All GRO units are required to have a minimum of twice month housekeeping on the lease. If you would like housekeeping to visit your apartment more than once a month, just let us know! Any additional housekeeping requested will be billed to the following months’ rent at a rate of $85.00 per additional visit.

What utilities are included in my monthly rent?

GRO charges $300 per month for studios and one bedrooms to cover all utility charges. The utilities include; gas, electricity, hi speed wireless internet, Time Warner Cable Business Class premium HD television and home phone. If the electricity bill goes over $125 per month, the overage charge will be billed to you the following month on your rental statement. Should your electricity bill go over $125 on your last month with us, no worries, we will deduct it from your security deposit.

Please check the utility allocation if you are booking a larger residence.

Do I have the ability to make long distance or international phone calls?

All GRO apartments have free long distance to anywhere within the continental United States free of charge for all of our guests. Should you need to have international calling on your phone, please speak to your GRO rental representative and we will work those details out with you.

Can I bring a pet with me?

In most buildings, pets are allowed however, there are buildings that do not permit pets so you should check with your GRO representative. If pets are allowed, there would be a non-refundable cleaning fee, and some limitations on weight and breed. Should you need to bring your pet with you, kindly make those arrangements at the time of booking.

What time is check in/out?

Check in time is 3:00pm and check out time is 11:00am. Should you be arriving in the late evening, please let us know so we can assure your apartment is ready for your stay. Should you have further questions or need different accommodations, please let us know at the time of booking.

How can I pay for my stay?

All security deposits, broker fees and rent can be paid by cashier’s check, money order, cash or a bank wire transfer to make payment Hassel free.
